DATA CENTER CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER - CONSTRUCTION MANAGER - OWNERS REP
Role to include full-time on-site project management services as required for data center construction. Responsibilities are to perform duties as a representative of the data center owner operator. Previous experience as a data center construction manager, project manager, site superintendent is required. Projects include Greenfield, Brownfield, MEP infrastructure upgrades, data hall build-outs, controls, security, BAS, monitoring, and network cabling systems.
Management support and coordination with all project stakeholders is required. Collaboration with Architects, Engineers, AHJD, Owners, End-user clients,
contractors, and manufacturers. Travel to and work at other project locations outside of California may also be a requirement.
Must be willing to travel for work as required.
Degree in Construction or related Architectural, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
At least 5 years’ experience.
Field Supervision: DCi Owner’s Representatives are expected to have a general knowledge of activities on site. At a minimum, a daily walkthrough of the site is required to have a base understanding of the daily activities.
Reporting: DCi Owner’s Representatives will provide the Platform Delivery team with a site report every Friday. This report should encompass schedule, finance, OFCI updates and current issues.
Budgeting: DCi Owner’s Representatives should provide and maintain a budget for each project. This budget should include all costs associated with the project, from design to commissioning. This budget should be updated weekly with any Change Orders or cost revisions.
Cost Control: DCi Owner’s Representatives will review all pay applications or charges posted to the project. During this review, the Owner’s Representatives should ensure all charges are applicable and fall within the scope of the overall project.
OFCI Management: DCi Owner’s Representatives should consider OFCI management a key part of their responsibilities. Owner’s representatives should manage schedules and document exchange with the OFCI vendors. The Owner’s Representatives should be the key liaisons and points of contact between the vendor and our GC / subs. Communication with OFCI vendors should occur weekly.
Vendor Management: DCi currently has multiple vendors that directly contract with us. The owner’s representatives should be the key facilitators of these trades or services. The owner’s representatives need to ensure that these vendor schedules and documents are seamlessly integrated with the GC and current site activities.
Command Presence: DCi owner’s representatives are the guiding leadership representing the Project Delivery team on site. Owner’s Representatives should command presence while staying humble and respectful to all individuals involved with the project. If doubt is present, always default aggressive and use your best judgment.

Salary: $110,000.00 to $150,000.00 /year
